Denner alto recorder - one hand mechanics for the left hand, grenadilla, baroque, double hole

Make yourself comfortable!

big picture

You would like to grasp the deep F on your alto recorder quite relaxed? You would love to play tenor

recorder in defiance of your small hands – but you fail because of the distance between the tone holes?

You have got problems with single fingers that, however, are not fully functional? Our key crafters have got solutions for almost every problem!

Often it is sufficient to set up a single key:
relaxed playing without difficulties, clenching or strain! In other cases more keys can help to bridge the distance between tone holes and adjust the recorder to the individual grasping opportunities.

The setting of single keys is possible with recorders at every pitch and as a matter of course with recorders of other crafters.

For players with restricted skills in feeling and groping it is even possible to provide every single tone hole with a key: Now the key is inheriting the correct covering of the tone hole. The player is exonerated and can address him or herself absolutely to the figuration of music!

One hand mechanics: Under assistance of an ingenious and high-capacity key construction all functions are transferred to the fingers of one hand (either right or left). Keys are opening up special playing areas: for children, youth and adults who can use their fully functional hand to play the recorder in this way. Recorders with one hand mechanics are available for soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
