Aura-Edition ist ein Verlagsprojekt von Nik Tarasov, einer der zentralen Persönlichkeiten der heutigen Blockflötenkultur. Seine über Jahrzehnte gewachsenen Erfahrungen um die Belange der Blockflöte bündeln sich auf vielfältige Weise: Er arbeitet als international bekannter Blockflötist. Dabei spielt er neben traditionellen Blockflöten vornehmlich die von ihm entwickelten Modernen Harmonischen Blockflöten und restaurierte Originalinstrumente. Erschienen sind Einspielungen auf DVD, CD sowie Aufnahmen in Funk und Fernsehen. Im Musikinstrumentenbau ist er tätig als Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung bei Mollenhauer Blockflöten in Fulda/Germany. Dort ist er verantwortlich für Qualitätsmanagement, Forschung und Entwicklung des Instrumentensortiments.
